White Harvest News
Woohoo! The renovations are almost finished! If you haven’t visited our Pawleys Island store in a while, we are nearing the completion of some major modifications. We have added approximately 3000 additional square feet of retail space and our new store front/entryway now faces Commerce Drive. We have added air conditioning, a sound system, new store fixtures and new signage throughout the store focusing upon the mission of White Harvest Trading Company. Our spring and summer products are rolling in and we are excited to show it to you! Make plans to visit our store and bring some friends!
Baskets … As most of you know, the one product synonymous with White Harvest is baskets. We love baskets. Some of the great ways baskets are used are for decorating your house, storing items (such as food, clothing, magazines, pet supplies and those “miscellaneous” things that end up in that one drawer we keep saying we will clean out someday), and even gift giving. Baskets not only make a great gift, but can also be substituted for the ever-popular gift bag (they can then be used as décor instead of the closet until the next gift giving holiday). One idea for this time of year is to make Easter gift baskets for your family, friends or neighbors – include candy, homemade goodies or a stuffed animal – just to say they are special to you. You can even use gift baskets as a church outreach idea! I would love to hear about your basket ideas – please email them to Mark at mcwhtc@sc.rr.com.
From the Foundation … we have initial plans coming together for two groups of people each to visit one of our offices in China in 2007. One group will be teaching English and another will be serving our representative.
We could not do this without your support. Please invite your friends to come visit us in Pawleys Island!
