In the year 2000, David and Mary Ann Bishop began a work of faith that evolved from a vision of starting a unique business with the goal of helping economically and spiritually deprived areas of the world. White Harvest Trading Company initially began its work in rural villages and communities within the Southern province of GuangXi, China and is presently expanding into additional areas of vast opportunity.

Currently David and Mary Ann travel to China three to four times a year with the purpose of placing more orders with the local people and villages. The main priority is to find or develop products that will appeal to the U.S. market, so much of the time in China is spent working with the locals on designs and patterns for Christmas items, embroidered personal accessories and baskets.
